Since we are not going to Germany this summer we decided to bring the country to us and host a foreign exchange student. Dan is getting far enough in his german language studies to where it would be good to have someone to talk to, and I don't have near enough laundry to do. I don't think we are going to help this poor soul get a good grasp of what a typical American family is like.... they will be entertained at least. We are taking votes as to whether to host a boy or a girl.

I think you should host a girl. But by all means give the poor girl a warning of what she is getting into! I have been scarred for life from spending too much time at your house but oddly enough I think I liked it.
I say a boy. And I have to agree with Jennet as far as letting them know what they are getting into. Your house is far from the average american home. From the outside it looks like suburbia but inside oh my living hell!!!! jk
I thought of you guy's the other day on the train...we had a huge german family on and I had wished that you kids would've taught me some german words. Good luck on the mail order german. Gutantag!
