Construction has begun on my chicken coop. Here is Phase I. Dan & the kids are mocking me because I put down lenolium on the floor, but I think it will be easier to clean this way. ( Now, I know how Noah felt when he built the Ark.) I have designed and built the coop myself. Dan said he couldn't help without plans, and they were in my head, so I proceeded without him. We will see how it turns out. I will post final pictures.

Coop Construction- Phase I
Construction has begun on my chicken coop. Here is Phase I. Dan & the kids are mocking me because I put down lenolium on the floor, but I think it will be easier to clean this way. Lisa do you really think that the chicken's need lanoleum? (sp?) Would it be canabalistic to give them feather pillows as well? You silly girl! I can only imagine the "arguments" you and Dan would have if he helped you build a chicken coop. Oh the entertainment!
Can I sleep in there when I come to visit in a few weeks?
Lisa you are an awesome woman! I love the coop and I can't wait to hear about all the fun you're going to have with chickens. BTW, I have a friend who had a coop and I think you're supposed to let the droppings accumulate. There's a technical reason. Maybe you should research that before you worry about mopping the chicken coop floor!!
Can we get some spires on there, and a statue of Moron-i? Also, will you have a visitor's center, and if so, how many dozen plasma tv's will you have in there?
