Californians can't drive in rain.

It's a good thing we don't get too much rain here, and even better that it never freezes. I was taking Reed and a car full of scouts to a "scout thing" a few weeks ago and in the car-pool lane was a car stopped and facing me with it's lights on. Slowing down for rain, and only going 60, I quickly broke the law- and veered out of the carpool lane so I wouldn't hit it. I then called 911 to report it and went along my merry way.
This picture was taken last week and demonstrates that with 7 lanes of traffic all kicking up hazy water it is tough to see on these freeways. It is like when you pass a semi on a regular freeway in the rain and you get blasted with misty haze. But on these freeways the haze doesn't go away after you pass the truck.

Gosh that is scary! Glad you are okay, and know how to drive in the rain.

I never said I could drive in the rain..... but I hope my years of learning to drive in Oregon with torrential rains and sheets of ice taught me a thing or two. I say this discalimer in case I get in an accident in the rain and then look like an idiot.

Don't worry lisa people in southern Ut don't know how to drive in the rain either. I have to admit I'm not the best at it either.
